This painting belongs to my project ‘Copper Skin’, which explores how copper, during its oxidation process, develops a unique green patina. This transformation evokes the appearance of a metallic epidermis. For me, this process carries a deeply poetic resonance, akin to a Phoenix’s revival: rather than symbolizing deterioration or decay, rust becomes a source of beauty and renewal.

This metaphor reflects a very positive and transformative moment in my life, where I see beauty in change and growth.
